Today on our 2011 Ford Expedition, well be test fitting part number a30901, the Sport Rack two bike hitch mounted bike rack with mount cradles for both inch and a quarter and two inch hitches. Now to begin our test fit well slide our bike rack shank with the included adapter into the hitch, line up the hitch pin hole, and install and tighten down our anti-rattle bolt. With our bolt tight our bike rack is secured to the vehicle. Now well go ahead and give you a few measurements, our ground clearance at the bike rack is 23-1/8 inches and from the closet point of the bike rack to the back of the vehicle is 10-1/2 inches. Now well go ahead and unfold the bike rack platform and open our cargo door and as you can see we can gain full access to the cargo area opening our cargo door completely with this bike rack. Were now almost ready to load our bike, all we need to do is make sure that our wheel loop straps are undone and out of the way and that our vertical bar clamp is fully extended.
Well place the bike into the wheel loops bringing the vertical bar back up remembering to reinstall the pin holding the bar in place. We can then bring the clamp down over the top bar of our bike, well move back down to the wheel loops where well put the straps through the wheel and secure them on the other side and thats it our bike is loaded and were ready to head on down the road and that completes our test fit of the Sport Rack two bike hitch mounted bike rack with wheel mount cradles for inch and a quarter and two inch hitches, part number a30901 on our 2011 Ford Expedition.
