Review of the SportRack EZ Hitch Bike Rack on a 2009 Honda Accord

Alright, today on this 2009 Honda Accord we're going to do a test fit of part number A30901 from SportRack. One quick note about this bike rack is this will work on 1-1/4-inch receiver hitches both class 1 and class 2. This will also work with 2-inch receiver hitches with the included spacer. Ok, we're going to start off our bike rack installed into the hitch. We'll go ahead and install the anti-rattle bolt and tighten it down, and then we'll install the safety pin on the other side. Now, we'll go ahead and give you some clearance measurements between the bike rack and the car.

Between the bike rack and the bumper is going to be 8 inches. Ground clearance at its lowest point will be 9-3/4 inches and as highest point in the back will be 15-1/2 inches. Alright, let's go ahead and fold the bike rack and show access to the back of the car, ok Next, we'll go ahead and load up the bike. First thing we'll do, we'll make sure that the wheel straps are out of the way and that the clamps for the center post are run at the very top. When we load up our bike, we'll put the wheels into the wheel loops then raise the center post up and clamp down on the top tube.

When we put the center post back up, we'll put the pin in place then we can move on to the wheel straps. Ok Just a few steps is what it takes to load up the bike and we'll check the access to the trunk area one more time. Ok, with that, that will finish it for part number A30901 from SportRack, on our 2009 Honda Accord.
