install-=sprotrack-ez-chevy-equinox-a30901 Alright today on this 2005 Chevy Equinox we are going to do t test fit of part number A30901 from SportRack, their 2 bike easy hitch mounted rack. This bike rack will fit inch and 1/4 receiver hitches, class one and class two, and also class three receiver hitches. In this application we will be using a class 2 receiver hitch. Okay we will start off by installing the bike rack into the hitch and tightening down the anti-rattle bolt, and then to tighten down the bolt we will use a 3/4 inch wrench. Then we will use our safety clip on the other side of the bolt. Next we will give you some measurements that will give you an idea of clearance between the bumper and the rack, and the rack and the ground.

Between the rack and the bumper at its closest point will be 7-1/2 inches, and the lowest point to the hitch on the ground will be 12 inches. On the back of the rack that will be 16-3/4 inches. Next we will go ahead and lower our center mast out of the way, and we can check to access to the back of the vehicle. That looks good, you only want to do this with the bikes off the rack. At this point let inchess go ahead and load up a bike we will go ahead and loosen up the wheel straps and then go ahead and load up the bike.

Put the bike in the wheel wells, get the pedals out of the way, we will raise up the mast, we will loosen up the clamp and then slide it onto the top tube. We will put our pin back into the mast, and then we will go ahead and tighten up te clamp, and then we will do our wheel straps. It only took a matter of seconds to go ahead and load up our bike, and with that it will finish it for our quick test fit of part number A30901 from SportRack.
