All right, today on this 2011 Toyota RAV4 were going to do a test fit of part #: RX880008 from Rain-X. this is their Fusion windshield wiper blade. All right, to start our test fit off we can go ahead and remove the original wiper blade thats on the vehicle. Well lift it up, theres a small tab that we have to push in so we can release it from the arm. Well slide it away from the arm and once we have it apart we can see that its a J-style arm. Then our new windshield wiper blade will slide right into place.
Well go ahead and open up the tab and line it up with the arm and then pull it, it secures itself and then well go ahead and push the tab back down and were good to go. Lets go ahead and repeat the same process on our passenger side. That one uses a separate part #: RX880002. A few other things to know about these windshield wiper blades that it has a frame style design with multiple pressure points to help keep it attached to the windshield. It also has a hard case that helps protect it from the elements such as snow and sleet and the rubber squeegee has built in UV inhibitors to help protect it from the sunlight.
