Today on this 2002 Ford F150, were going to do a test fit of Rain-X Fusion windshield wiper blades, part number rx880005. A few things to know about this product are its designed to be an all-weather replacement blade, designed for rain, snow, and sleet. It has an aerodynamic design with durable casing on the frame to help prevent ice and snow build-up. The rubber squeegee has built in UV inhibitors to help protect it from the sunlight as well. Now this is a frame styled design with multiple pressure points along the blade. To start up our test fit we need to remove the original blade, theres a small tab where to push then we can go ahead and slide them off the arm.
Once the wiper blade is free we can see the arm is a J-style, so our new Rain-x windshield wiper blade will go right into place. First off well go ahead and open up the small tab, so we can install the arm, then well line it up with the catch and then slide it into position until it snaps, then well go ahead and close the tab. Those few steps we have one finished on the driver side, well go ahead and repeat the same process over on the passenger side.
