Today on this 1997 Ford Van Club Wagon were going to do a test fit of part number RX8800007 from Rain-X. This is their Fusion windshield wiper blade. A few things to know is that this is a replacement all weather blade. It has a synthetic rubber squeegee with built in UV inhibitors to protect it in the sunlight. This also has a casing built on top of the frame to protect it from ice and snow. To start off our test fit were going to go ahead and remove the original wiper blades.
Theres a small tab that we have to press down and then we go ahead and release the wiper blade. Im going to ahead and install our new one. Lift up on the lid to give us some working room, and then well just slide it into place until it snaps. Once you have it fully installed you can go ahead and push the lid back down. Our drivers side is done, so well go ahead and repeat the same process on the other side.
Both wiper blades are the same size, so you need two of the same part number. With that, that will finish it for our test fit of part number RX880007 from Rain-X, the Fusion windshield wiper blade on our 1997 Ford Van Club Wagon.
