Review of the Kuat TRIO Roof Bike Rack on a 2014 Kia Cadenza

Today on our 2014 Kia Cadenza, well be test fitting the Kuat Trio Roof Mounted Bike Rack, part number RU01. With the Thule rapid traverse roof rack system on our vehicle, well begin our test fit by placing the bike rack up on to the vehicles load bars. Now starting at the front, well take the rubber coated U-bolts, take it around the underside of the front bar up to the predrilled holes at the head of the carrier. Well then go ahead and take the black nuts to go down through the predrilled holes at the top of the bike rack on to our black U-bolt. Once we get all those in position, well move to the rear, loosen up one of the black wing nuts, and position the rubber coated plate around the underside of the rear bar. Well then reinstall our wing nut and tighten both of them down. Now moving back up to the front, well then use the included tool to tighten everything down.

With the bike rack secured, were ready to load up our bike. Well double check to make sure the securer is loose, and then well undo the strap at the rear. Well place our bike up on to the bike rack, sliding the forks down on to the securer and clamping it down. Well finally secure the back tire with the rear strap. With our bike all loaded up, that our complete todays test fit for the Kuat Trio Roof Mounted Bike Rack, part number RU01, on our 2014 Kia Cadenza.
