How to Install the K-Source Universal Dual Lens Towing Mirrors on a 2016 Chrysler Town and Country

Today in our 2016 Chrysler Town and Country, we're going to be installing K Sources Universal Dual Lens towing mirrors, part number KS3990.As you can see here, I'm clearly visible in our factory mirror, but as I take a step towards the outside, I'm no longer visible in the factory mirror, but I can clearly be seen in our universal towing mirror. This is particularly useful when merging onto the highway, changing lanes, and during parking maneuvers. Each mirror has two lenses. You'll have one flat mirror and one convex mirror. The convex mirror is going to give you a wider angle of view, but objects in that mirror may be closer than they appear. While the mirror's installed, you'll still have full adjustment both vertically and horizontally of your factory mirror. And the breakaway function can still be utilized without contacting the body or glass. On the back you'll have two ratcheting straps.

This is nice 'cause they can be cinched down nice and tight. And there'll be rubber foot pads located on each strap. This will keep it nice and secure without sliding around and preventing any scratches or abrasions on the back side of the mirror. The ratcheting mechanisms have a cover that can be lifted up with a release mechanism here that will allow it to easily come off, as well as a ratcheting lever to insure you get it nice and tight. This is a premium universal towing mirror, since you've got the flat mirror for more accurate representation of what's behind you and the convex mirror for a wider angle of view. And since it is universal, if you have multiple vehicles or trailers that you haul, it can easily be swapped from one to the other.WE'll begin our installation on our driver's side.

You want to take the hooks on the bottom, and line those up on your mirror. And then do the same on the top. Here on the other side, we'll take our straps and hook them in to the top. Once you've got them both hooked in, you'll pull the ratchet strap until it becomes snug. Then you can use the ratcheting mechanism to cinch it down tight.Once you've got them tight, you can just fold the covers over the back and repeat the same process on the other side.

And that completes our installation of K Source's Universal Dual Lens towing mirrors on our 2016 Chrysler Town and Country.
