How to Install the Husky GearBox Interior Storage System on a 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500

Hey, everybody. Welcome to etrailer.com. I'm Bobby. And today we're taking a look at our Husky Liner Gearbox Interior Storage System for pickup trucks here in our 2018 Chevy Silverado 1500. Now this is going to be an excellent way of going ahead and, as you guys can see, starting to give yourself a little bit of management for your cargo in the back of your pickup. As you guys can see too, we do have these longer items in here, which is great.

We're not forced into having our compartments, but if we do want them, we have these guys which are really easy to insert and actually give ourselves some compartments to start fitting our things, like our shirts on this one side, but still allowing us to have our longer items on the other. Now, a lot of times it's really hard to use this space, right, when your seats are down, but this is excellent to go ahead and get it stored. Then you can bring your seats in position and that way you're not having to fiddle around, messing everything around and they're not rolling around everywhere. And what's great about that too is that the surface itself is really nice too. It's got that impact resistant...

it's actually kind of soft, it's not like a hard substance, so it's going to do great at preventing all of your items from rolling around and getting lost. What's great is it is custom fit for our Silverados. You guys can see it's going to adhere right to where our bracket actually is. We're going to show you guys to do an installation of how to get this nice and cinched on and installed. But what's great too, it's not taking up any room of where my feet would be, Right Even as I bring this seat down, I'm not losing any of this space.

What's great about our gearbox, all we have to do is simply place it here, pick up your seats and set it down. So you're going to have this little buckle here and if this strap isn't, for some reason, installed, it's really easy just to run it through this opening right here. Basically what this is going to do is secure it and make sure we're not shifting around. So we simply take our other end of our strap, put it around our seat brackets here and start walking it in. And simply just take this, try to take out as much slack as you can and bring your buckle in place and cinch it down and that'll keep it from shifting.

All we need to do is take our dividers and place them in our gearbox, just like so. And that'll allow us to divide them. Unless of course you need room for your longer items. Last thing to do is go ahead and load up all your stuff that you want to go ahead and storage, bring down your seats, and you're ready to go. Well, whether you need storage for your kids' stuff, your jumper cables or anything, you're going to have plenty of room here in this storage box, which is going to be excellent. And of course, making it really easy to get to and manageable.
