Review of the Hollywood Racks Expedition Trunk Bike Rack on a 2013 Chevrolet Malibu

Today on our 2013 Chevrolet Malibu well be test fitting the Hollywood Racks Expedition two bike carrier with adjustable arms, part number HRF6-2. Now with our bike rack already preassembled were ready to fit it to the vehicle. Well simply place it on top of the rear deck lid where we can take the two top straps and secure them to the deck lid just behind the rear window. Well now go ahead and pull them snug to help us hold the bike rack to the vehicle while we install the other four straps. Well now install our two bottom straps here on the side where we can allow them to fold down to the bottom attaching to the deck lid just above the rear bumper cover. Well again pull them snug.

We can now take the two side straps and attach them to the deck lid here just underneath the tail light. Now with all six straps attached we can now go ahead and pull them tight securing or bike rack to the vehicle. With our bike rack secured well now undo the clamps which will allow us to bring out the dual arms. With the arms out well go ahead and tighten the clamps down and were ready to load our bike. Well undo the straps here to expose the cradles where we can then place the bike into the cradles and bring the straps around securing the bike to the bike rack.

Youll notice that the bike sits at an angle hugging the contour of the vehicle helping with aerodynamic stability to increase fuel mileage. Thatll do it for our test of the Hollywood Racks Expedition two bike carrier with adjustable arms, trunk mount, part number HRF6-2, on our 2013 Chevrolet Malibu.
