Review of the Convert-A-Ball Ball Mount with 2 Inch Drop on a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee

Today on our 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee well be test fitting the Convert-A-Ball cushion ball mount for two inch hitches with a three-quarter inch rise, two inch drop, rated at 10,000 pounds, part number AMSC2. Before we begin our test fit we will first need to obtain a hitch height of our vehicle. This is the measurement from the ground to the inside top of the receiver tube. Our measurement is 15 inches. This measurement may vary due to tire size and aftermarket accessories. Well now install the shank of the ball mount in the drop position into the opening of the hitch, line up our pin holes, insert our pin through our pin holes and secure with the clip.

Well then measure from the ground to the top of the ball platform and get a measurement of 13 inches. Well now flip the ball mount over into the rise position and measure from the ground to the top of the ball platform and get a measurement of 15 inches.
