Today on our 2008 Toyota Tundra will be tested in the Covert-A-Ball Cushioned Ball Mount for 2-inch hitches with a 6-3/4 inch rise or an 8-inch drop rated at 10,000 lbs, Part #AMSC8. To begin our test fit we first need to get our hitch height; this is the measurement from the ground to the inside top edge of our receiver tube. We have a hitch height of 19-1/4 inches. We'll now take our ball mount and install it in the drop position. We'll slide the shank of our ball mount into the receiver tube of the hitch, line up our pin hole, and install our pin and clip. We'll now take a measurement from the ground to the top of our ball platform. We have a measurement of about 11 inches. When measuring your trailer height you want to measure it when your trailer is level. You'll measure from the ground to the bottom of your coupler. If your measurement matches ours, then this would be a good fit for you. We'll flip it over to the rise position, and we now have a measurement of 25-3/4 inches. Again, if your measurement matches ours, this would be a good fit for you. And that completes today's test fit for the Covert-A-Ball Cushioned Ball Mount for 2-inch hitches, Part #AMSC8 on our 2008 Toyota Tundra.
