Review of the Convert-A-Ball Ball Mount with 2 Inch Drop on a 2007 Toyota 4Runner


Today on our 2007 Toyota 4 Runner well be test fitting the Convert-A-Ball cushioned ball mount, part number AMSC2. Before we begin our test fit we will need to get a hitch height for this vehicle. This is the measurement from the ground to the inside top of the receiver tube. The hitch height for this vehicle is about 17 inches. We will now slide shank into the opening of the receiver tube in the drop position, align the pin hole, slide the pin through the pin hole and secure with the clip. We will now measure from the ground to the top of the ball platform and our measurement is about 15 inches.

We will now flip the ball mount over into its rise position and measure from the ground to the top of the ball platform. This measurement is about 18 inches. If your trailers level ride height matches any of these two measurements this would be an appropriate ball mount for you.
