Review of the Convert-A-Ball Ball Mount with 2 Inch Drop on a 2006 Toyota Sienna


Today on our 2006 Toyota Sienna, well be test fitting the Convert-A-Ball Cushioned Ball Mount for 2 Inch Hitches with three quarter inch rise or two inch drop. This ball mount is rated for 10,000 pounds. Part number AMSC2. Now to being our test fit well need to get our hitch height measurement. To do this well measure from the inside top edge of the receiver tube to the ground. Now on this vehicle that measurement is 11 and three quarter inches.

Now keep in mind that measurement can change due to hitch style, tire size or any other accessory which may change your vehicles ride height, so its a good idea to measure yours. Well now slide the ball mount shank into the hitch, line up the hitch pin hole and install our pin and clip, securing our ball mount in the drop position to the vehicle. Now in the drop position, from the top of the ball platform to the ground measures nine and three quarter inches. Well now go ahead and flip our ball mount over and reinstall the pin and clip. Our ball mount is now secured to the vehicle in the rise position.

Now in the rise position, from the top of the ball platform to the ground measures 12 and a half inches. That will complete our test fit of the Convert-A-Ball Cushioned Ball Mount for 2 Inch Hitches, part number AMSC2 on our 2006 Toyota Sienna. .
