Review of the Convert-A-Ball Ball Mount with 2 Inch Drop on a 2006 Cadillac Escalade

Today on our 2006 Cadillac Escalade we'll be test fitting the Convert-A-Ball Cushioned Ball Mount for two inch hitches with three quarter inch rise or two inch drop rated at ten thousand pounds, part number AMSC2. Now to begin we need to get our hitch height measurement. To do this we'll measure from the top of the receiver tube opening to the ground. Now on this truck that measurement is fifteen and a quarter inches. Now keep in mind that this measurement can change due to tire size, hitch style, or any other accessory that may change your vehicle's ride height. It's a good idea to measure yours.

We'll now slide the ball mount shank into the hitch, line up the hitch pinhole, and install our hitch pin. We can then put the clip on the other side of the pin which will secure the ball mount to the vehicle in the drop position. With our ball mount in the drop position, from the top of the ball mount platform to the ground measures thirteen and a half inches. We can now remove the ball mount, flip it over, and re-install it where we'll take a measurement from the top of the ball mount platform, in the rise position, to the ground, measuring sixteen and a quarter inches. THat'll do it for the Convert-A-Ball Cushioned Ball Mount for two inch hitches with three quarter inch rise or two inch drop rated at ten thousand pounds, part number AMSC2, on our 2006 Cadillac Escalade. .
