Review of the Car Top Rooftop Cargo Box on a 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe

Speaker 1: Today on our 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe, we'll be having a look at the Car Top Cargo Rooftop-Mounted Cargo Box, part number CTC-18S. Inside we'll find 18 cubic feet of added storage space to our vehicle. We have a nice reinforced area here to help support all the weight. One great thing about this cargo box is we can fully open our vehicle's hatch and not worry about the hatch contacting our cargo box.Another great thing is for vehicles that have a sunroof, you don't need to worry about not being able to vent your sunroof. You can still vent it all the way without it contacting your sunroof. Our rooftop cargo box here attaches to our vehicle's roof rack using four of these provided clamps. These clamps will work with factory roof racks, Aero Bars, round bars, and square bars.In order to gain access to our cargo box, we need to remove these clips right here. We have one on each side of the box, pull up on our handle here.

It'll spring down. Repeat the same process on the front one and the one on the other side. Now, in the back we have our lock. Insert our key, twist it, lift up on it. We'll place our supports. Now we have access to load our cargo into our box. Now, our roof box is secured to our roof rack via these nuts here.

They simply twist off and then your clamp will come down out the bottom. We have two knobs on a U-bolt on each corner of the box for eight knobs total, making a quick and easy attachment and removal to your vehicle's roof rack. Our cargo box measures 56 1/2 inches long, 38 3/4 of an inch wide, and is 19 inches tall. It only weighs 29 pounds, making it easy for one person to load and unload onto your roof rack. Now, one thing you want to to be careful of aver installing this on your Santa Fe, that extra 19 inches that you added does make the vehicle a little bit taller. You want to be careful pulling in and out of garages, make sure you're not gonna contact the roof box on the header over the garage, and going through drive-throughs or ATMs. Things of that nature, you want to be sure that you're aware of your surroundings, you're not gonna make any contact with it.That'll do it for our look at the Car Top Cargo Rooftop Cargo Box, part number CTC-18S on our 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe..
