Best 2015 Toyota Prius c Hitch Options

Today we'll be going over the best three hitch options available for the 2015 Toyota Prius C. We're going to have our draw-tite, class one receiver hitch with our inch and a quarter by inch and a quarter receiver tube. Part number 24889. Then we're going to have our hidden hitch, which is going to be very similar to our draw tight. That's going to be that class one receiver hitch, part number 60308. Then we're going to have our curt, which you can see is going to be significantly different than the other two. It's going to be a class one receiver hitch with our inch and a quarter by inch and a quarter receiver tube. Part number C11299. They're all going to have a black, powder coat finish which is going to help prevent any kind of rust and corrosion. They're going to be nice and tucked up underneath the back side of the bumper, where you can see the bumper is going to rest right here on top of the plate on all three. The hidden hitch and the draw-tite are both going to mount using four bolts, two on either side.

The curt is going to mount using three bolts on either side with a total of six. All three of these receiver hitches will have included hardware, and it's going to be a very easy installation. The hidden hitch and the draw-tite are both going to be a little bit heavier duty than the curt, offering a 200 pound tongue weight, and a 2000 pound gross trailer weight on either of these. The curt on the bottom here is going to offer a 150 pound tongue weight and a 1000 pound gross trailer weight. All the tie downs will be very similar. The hidden hitch and the draw-tite will have a little bit heavier duty gauge tie downs that the curt will. Another difference between the draw-tite, hidden hitch, and the curt, is going to be the pinhole location. From the center of the pinhole to the outermost part of the receiver tube is going to two inches on the curt, whereas the hidden hitch and the draw-tite, you're looking at about two and a quarter inches. All three receiver hitches are going to have a heavy duty, fully welded construction.

You can see those welds straight throughout. The only significant difference when you're visually looking at it from the back of the vehicle is you can see that the hidden hitch and the draw-tite, all their going to have is that inch and a quarter by inch and a quarter receiver tube with the chain tie down hanging down. As the curt, you're going to have that back bracket as well, that's going to be hanging down on the back side. They're all going to have a sleek look on the back of the vehicle. That will do it for our review of the best three hitch options available for the 2015 Toyota Prius C.
