Best 2015 Ram 1500 Towing Mirror Options

Speaker 1: Today we're going to be taking a look at the best towing mirror options for your 2015 Ram 1500. Over here we're going to have the clip on towing mirrors, here's going to be a door mount, and these are going to be a slide on.Let's talk about our clip on mirrors first. They're going to install the same. They're going to clip on to your factory housing. It's going to have a strap that comes around the back of your mirror and clips on to the top of the arm. The difference between them is this one here is going to have a rubber foot and it's also going to ratchet, whereas this one is going to clip on and it's just going to have a pull strap to tighten it to how you need. Now the difference between our clip on mirrors as opposed to this one is this one is going to mount directly to the door.

Now your clip on mirrors, you're going to get a little bit of vibration, they might move a little bit with wind resistance, whereas this one that clips on to your door, it's going to have a seatbelt like strap that's going to tighten it to your door and you're going to get a lot less movement out of it.Now what separates these three mirrors here from the clip on mirrors and then the door mounted mirror is these are going to be more of a custom fit. They're going to have a black plastic finish. They're going to fit the contour of your factory mirror. You're going to get a lot of less wind resistance off of them. As far as your custom fit mirrors, these two are going to slide directly over your factory housing and have a hook that hold them in place.

This one is going to just clip directly overtop of your factory housing. Now that we've gone over some of the differences, lets go over some of the similarities of all of them. All these mirrors are going to provide the same function of extending your field of view when towing a trailer or a camper. All of these are going to be fully adjustable to help give you a better view when towing. A similarity between the clip on mirrors and the custom fit mirrors is they're all designed so they won't damage your factory mirror housing.Of the options of towing mirrors we have here, in my opinion I would have to go with one of these customer fit ones. They might cost you just a little bit more than the clip on mirrors, however, these are going to look a lot better on your vehicle, you're going to get a lot less wind resistance and vibration out of the mirror. That'll do it for a look at the best towing mirror options for your Ram 1500..
