Best 2007 Dodge Grand Caravan Hitch Options

Today, on our 2007 Dodge Grand Caravan, we're going to compare the three best hitch options available. Curt hitch part number 13389, Draw-Tite hitch part number 75305, and our Hidden hitch, part number 87719. Now each one of these hitches is a class three hitch, and has a two inch by two inch receiver tube opening. All three hitches are capable of up to 350 pounds of tongue weight, with a thirty-five hundred pound tow capacity. Now, as you can see, all three hitches are similar, but the Draw-Tite and Hidden hitch are actually exact duplicates of each other. The install of each of our hitches is going to be similar. As you can see, the style and shape is also similar, and they all have a nice, black, powder-coated finish to resist rust and corrosion that can happen over time. Now, it's been my experience when installing these hitches, that the Curt hitch, in it's design, is slightly easier to get in place and secure.

One of the really nice features about our Draw-Tite and Hidden hitch is the second pre-drilled hole in the receiver tube. This is designed to use with the J-Pin style anti-rattle bolt and lock. Now, once installed, our Curt hitch is going to have approximately four inches from the center of the hitch pin hole, to the outermost edge of the bumper. Then from the top of the receiver tube opening down to the ground is going to be approximately twelve and a half inches. For our Draw-Tite and Hidden hitch, from the center of the hitch pin hole to the outermost edge of the bumper is approximately three inches, and from the top of the receiver tube opening down to the ground is about the same, at twelve and a half inches. This will assist you in selecting accessories such as a ball mount, bike rack, or cargo carrier. That will do it for the three best hitch options available for our 2007 Dodge Grand Caravan..
