Today we're going to take a look at the etrailer pre-greased Trailer Idler Hub Assembly for 6,000 pound E-Z Lube Axles with the 6 on 5-1/2" bolt pattern.Now this trailer hub assembly will fit idler axles. It includes the bearings, the bearing races, the grease seal. Comes with the E-Z Lube grease cap with the rubber plug, and the lug nuts are all included. This is a sturdy iron construction. It uses a zinc-enriched paint finish on it, and this is a pre-greased idler hub, which makes it very easy to install. There's no need to pack the bearings.

It'll come with the bearings, the races, the bearings, everything greased, ready to go, even the grease seal on the back, all installed.Just to show you in the front here, you can see if we pop off this protective cover, you can see the bearing, all greased ready to go. And then if we turn it to the back, you can see there's your seal, and again, the bearings all greased, so it saves you all that time. All you have to do is when you receive these, just install them right onto your hubs.They do use a lithium complex multipurpose grease to keep the bearings lubricated. This hub is QAI and CSA-certified. Again, the application on this is 6,000 pound A-Z Lube trailer axles with the #42 spindles.

This is compatible with standard axles from most manufacturers including Dexter, Lippert and AL-KO. The wheel size that'll fit on this hub is 14" up to 16-1/2" diameter. The bolt pattern we mentioned is 6 on 5-1/2". Wheel studs are 1/2" diameter, so they do include six of the 1/2" by 20 size lug nuts. Weight capacity on one of these hubs is 3,000 pounds, so when it's used with one on the other side, it'll match your 6,000 pound axle rating.The bearings that are included in this, the inner bearing is part number 25580.

Outer bearing is 15123. And the grease seal that's installed is part number GS2250DL. Again, this is for E-Z Lube axles, and E-Z Lube axles are the ones that have this grease zerk fitting on the end. So that's why they will have a different cap with the opening to allow you to access that zerk fitting.
