Review of Voyager RV Electronics VCMS140IB

Today we're going to be taking a look at the Voyager Rear Camera with LED Low Light Assist. This camera features a compact one-piece molded construction for easy installation on any vehicle. The unit's fixed camera design sets the optimal blind zone visibility to help improve driver awareness and safety while on the road. It's going to feature a completely waterproof design. The camera features high performance color optics as well as 140-degree viewing angle. It's going to feature infrared low light assist that's going to provide visibility at night and in low light conditions.

The housing on the unit is an impact and corrosion-resistant aluminum housing and this is black in color. The camera features a built-in microphone. That allows you to hear what's going on at the back of your RV or at the back of your vehicle. It is a surface mount installation. Mounting pad, spacer and hardware are all included. Taking a look at the dimensions real quick starting with the overall width of the unit, edge-to-edge is about 2-1/2 inches.

Overall height is going to be about 1-1/4 inches. The overall depth from the mounting surface to the outer edge of the camera housing is about 1-1/4 as well. The cord length measures about 10 inches long. It's going to feature the standard 4-pin connector that connects into your RV's camera wiring system. Please note that when using the spacer, be sure to use liquid sealant around the spacer to prevent water intrusion into the vehicle or RV.

That's going to do it for today's look at the Voyager Rear Camera with LED Low Light Assist.
