Today we're going to take a look at the large pet life preserver jacket and this is for dogs 40 to 70 pounds. Now this life jacket will keep your dog afloat. It takes the worry out of a day on the water with your four legged friend. This is a nice flotation jackets that provides buoyancy to keep your dog afloat. If you notice it has the reflective strips here on the straps. This ensures visibility of your dog.

It is a nice nylon jacket. It does adjust to provide your dog with a comfortable fit. Does use these adjustable buckles and the hook and loop fasteners. So if you go up here in the front, you would just go ahead and push that to unhook the buckle, pull this apart and then this'll go right under the neck of your dog. Get it to the right size, push it closed and take your buckles, snap it, and then you have your adjustment strap here.

If you've got to let some out or pull it to tight, either way and you'll do the same underneath. You'll notice there's two buckles here. Just unclip the buckles.Once you get those unclipped then you can pull this apart and then wrap this around the girth of your dog, which is around the rib cage. Once you get it to the correct size, just go ahead and pull it snug, secure it that way. Take the straps.

You can go ahead and hook the straps and then you have your strap here that you can just pull to tighten it or loosen it, whichever you need to do and you'll do the same on this one. Makes it very easy to install. If you notice on the underside it has a nice mesh underside which allows for quick drying of your dog when it gets out of the water. On the very top, it has this rescue handle that makes a hands on rescue very quick and easy and right in front of the handle is this attachment ring.This will allow you to easily connect to your dog's leash. If you notice it is also a nice bright red color for visibility.

Now when you do go to buy one of these jackets, you do need to choose the right size for your dog and what you need to do is use the girth and the weight to estimate the correct size for your dog. The girth is the most important measurement. To get the girth measurement, measure the girth by using a tape measure around the widest part of your dog's rib cage. Once you get that and then you just put it in with the correct weight and you get the right size. Now if you have in between sizes, you should choose the next size up. This one is the large, so it is the largest one. It'll fit dogs with the weight of 40 to 70 pounds and a girth dimension of 26 to 35 inches.We do also offer this jacket in a small and a medium. The small will fit dogs up to 18 pounds that'll have a girth of 15 inches to 19 inches and that when we sell separately. It's part number VA54ZR and then the medium size one will fit dogs that way up to 20 to 40 pounds and have a girth of 22 to 29 inches. Part number on the medium one is VA34ZR.
