Today we're going to take a look at the small pet life preserver jacket for an up to an 18 pound pet. Now, this life check will keep your dog afloat. It takes the worry out of your day on the water with your four legged friend. It's a nice flotation jacket, provides buoyancy to help keep your dog afloat. If you notice on here it has reflective strips to ensure visibility of your dog. It is a nice nylon jacket, and it does adjust to provide your dog with a nice comfortable fit.
To show you on the front here, you uncouple the buckle here. It has the hook and loop fasteners that you can put around your dog's neck, and then buckle that. And then on the bottom here is the same way, you got two buckles that you can release. And again, hook and loop goes around the rib cage of your dog. Once you get it secured that way, and for extra security you just pop the buckles in, and you're ready to go.
You also noticed that some mesh underside, allows for quick drying of your dog when he's out of the water.On the very top you can see it has this nice small rescue handle, makes a hands-on rescue very quick and easy. Does have an attachment ring here that allows you to easily connect to your dog's leash. You can see it has a nice bright red color for visibility. Now, this is a small size, which means it'll fit dogs with weight of up to 18 pounds, and a girth of 15 inches to 19 inches. Now, when you go to choose the right size for your dog, the girth and the weight is important.
The girth is the most important. And to measure the girth, what you want to do is just use a tape measure and then measure the widest part around your dog's rib cage. That'll give you the girth measurement, and then of course the weight is also in there. If you are in between sizes on the girth measurement, you should just choose the next size up. This as a small size.
We do also offer it in a medium and a large.The medium fits a girth of 22 to 29 inches, a weight of 20 to 40 pounds. That part number is VA34ZR. And the large size fits a girth of 26 inches to 35 inches and a weight of 40 to 70 pounds. Part number on that large one is VA94ZR.
