Today we're going to be taking a look at the Ultra-Fab Chock and Lock Wheel Stabilizers for Tandem-Axle Trailers and RVs. This is a 2 pack. You can see that when they're not being used, it do collapse for a nice compact storage so that way they don't take up much space when they're not being used in your storage compartment. It's also going to feature an E-Z grip handle, this is going to provide excellent leverage and these handles, when they're fully engaged in lock position like that and you have this installed in between your tires, these are lockable to help deter theft. Now, your padlocks are not included, those are sold separately, but if you're interested in the padlock, you can find them here at etrailer.com. The lock hold diameter on the unit is going to measure 3/8" in diameter, and then the span you would need or usable space, outside edge to outside edge is going to measure 7/8". Here on the arms, it's going to feature super-grip ridges, that's going to grip the tire tread to prevent slipping.
The arms are angled, they have a nice angle design to benefit the curve of your tire. The arms are going to provide a width of about 2 1/4". The units are made from heavy gauge steel. They're going to have a nice zinc plating, so they're going to resist rust and corrosion and last a long time. Again, you're going to get two wheel chocks, these are designed for dual axle trailers and RVs.
With the wheel spacing of an inch and a half, to 5 1/4" and they're going to be covered with a lifetime warranty. Now, please keep in mind that the purpose of the chock and lock is to limit front to back motion on part tandem axle trailers. These are not designed to be used as brakes or wheel wedges. When it comes to mounting the chock and lock, its got a threaded rod and knot here at the top. You'd need to adjust that to fit your application. What you would do is you would simply place one of this on the open position between the tandem tires, and then use that knot on top.
You would turn the knot on the rod until the width of the unit fits the spacing of your tires. Once you have that set, all you have to do is press this lever down into the lock position. It's going to push the arms out to provide that nice tight fit between the tires. Then you can install the padlock for further security.
