TruRyde Trailer Spindles - Agricultural Spindle - TRU34FR Review

Ella: Hey everyone. I'm Ella here at etrailer.com and we're going to be taking a quick look at the agricultural spindle for your 3000 pound trailer axle. This is a great way to replace that axle, if it's gotten worn or damaged over time. Without having to replace the entire axle itself, you can just cut off the end of that spindle, weld this guy on in place, and then you're ready to roll. Of course, it's not a bad idea to replace the hub bearings and seals and everything else inside that component, to make sure that you don't have any issues with it wearing out your new spindle. You want to keep everything fresh and clean as you're putting on that new component.I'll go over those spec in a little bit, but you can find those things right here etrailer.com while you're already getting the spindle.

So it's not a bad idea to check those out. But as far as our spindle itself, again, it is a weld-on application. So it's got that nice flush end to weld in place. The stub diameter is one and three quarter inches, as you can see. The total length of our spindle going from the end, to the end of the threads, from outer edge to outer edge is 12 inches. This does have a spindle capacity of 1500 pounds, or 1,500 pounds.

So this works for your 3000 pound trailer axles, since that's going to account for two spindles on either end. So, that's where you get the 3000 pounds. This works also with the 36 agricultural hub, which the part number you can find on the product page description here at etrailer.com. As far as those bearings, races and seals, you can also find those specs and part numbers listed on the product page as well. So again, if you want to pick those up at the same time, it's a good idea to do that while you're here. This comes with the cotter pin, castle nut and washer to hold everything in place.

So you won't have to worry about picking those up and they are going to match, of course, with this spindle. That's pretty much all there is to it for our look at this spindle. I hope this has been helpful in deciding if this is the right one for you. Again, check out all those other parts to make sure that your axle is working properly, right here at etrailer.com. Thanks for watching..
