Review of Tow Ready Custom Fit Vehicle Wiring 118325

Today we're going to be taking a look at the T1 Vehicle Wiring Harness with four pull flat trailer connector. This product fits a 1994 to 2008 Mazda B Series Pickup, as well as a 1993 to 1999 Ford Ranger. It's going to provide your four way flat trailer connector at the back of your vehicle. It's going to power your trailer signal lights. This is compatible with 5 pull, 6 pull, and 7 pull adapters. The adapters are sold separately, and it's going to come with a dust cap for the for way flat connector. That way you can cover up the connection points when your plug's not being used.

The black box is going to be the included taillight converter, this is going to insure that you . Excuse me. That your vehicle's wiring matches that of your trailer's. The unit's designed to connect quickly and easily. All you have to do is locate the connection point, along the frame rail, and plug in your T connector.

The ports on the connector are going to match up perfectly with the ports on the vehicle, and they're going to snap lock together for a nice tight secure fit. Once you have that plugged in, you'll need to mount your converter box to a nice clean alloy wheel location. It's going to come with some double sided adhesive tape on it, that way you can easily get that mounted. Some other options includes includes a mount hole right here, so that way you can use one of the included screws to get it mounted that way, or it includes one large zip tie, that way you can get it mounted with a zip tie. Multiple options to get that converter box mounted, but you want to get that mounted to a nice clean out of the way location. Then you can secure your excess wires if you have any slack in your wiring. You can use that zip tie or you can provide your own.

Once your installation's complete, the four way connector's going to be stowed beneath the vehicle near the trailer hitch, you can loop it around the safety chain loop, or you can purchase a mounting bracket. Mounting bracket is sold separately, but it is recommended to help keep the connector secure. It's also recommended that you use a small amount of dielectric grease on all of your electrical connections, like the plugs on the vehicle and the four pull connector itself. That grease is going to help prevent corrosion, so if you need some of that, you can find it here as well. It's going to be sold separately also. When it comes to the maximum amperage for the stop and turn lights, we're looking at 2.1 amps per circuit, and for the taillights we're looking at 4 amps per circuit.

It's going to come with your detailed installation instructions, those are going to walk you through the whole process step by step. That's going to do it for today's look at the T1 Vehicle Wiring Harness with four pull flat trailer connector.

Sort of useful instructions but it would be more useful to include information on the location of the Ford connection point. I'll sign off here and Google the tail light connector location but it would be helpful to include that here.

This is just a tabletop video where we give a quick overview of the product and the ability to see the product being handled. We unfortunately haven't had the opportunity to install this wiring harness yet but if you check out the linked instructions on the product page it says that the taillight wiring harness is located along the inside of the left rear frame rail.

Reply from Dan S.

@JonG but it isn’t. It’s located at the left rear just under the tailgate
