Today we're going take a look at the TireMinder Solar-Powered TPMS for dual axle trailers, with this LCD monitor. Now this is a solar-powered TPMS that'll let you monitor your trailer's tire pressure and temperature, via this dedicated LCD monitor. The sensor range is perfect for dual axle trailers up to 25 foot long. This part does include everything laid out here on the table. It includes the LCD monitor with the hook and loop fasteners and the micro USB charger. It includes the four transmitters with the batteries, four extra batteries, the locking hardware to lock the transmitters to your valve stems.

Also includes the tire . or the signal booster with the cable ties to hook it up. And a nice set of detailed instructions that'll describe how everything works and how it all installs.Now I'll start with the monitor, I want to show you the monitor. It has an LCD color monitor which will display current pressure and temperature of all four tires simultaneously. And it does do audible alerts that will sound, and individual tire lights will flash if the tire pressure temperature exceeds baseline settings.

It will also show tire temperature in Fahrenheit or Celsius. Ours shows tire pressure in PSI or BAR.So what I'm going do is, we're going to turn this on and I'm going to zoom in. Let's zoom in first. And I'm going to turn this on, the middle button will turn on. So you see when I press it, it's going to show you the settings.

You do the tire pressure settings in the middle and on the outside it'll have the temperature settings. And we had mentioned about changing, you can change the temperature from Fahrenheit to Celsius. So if you look right over here, it's showing Fahrenheit. If you push this it drops down to show Celsius. We don't have anything put in there so that's why it's not showing.

And over here, if you want to inaudible 00:01:47, I'm going to go back to Fahrenheit. Over here it's showing PSI now. If you want to go down to BAR. Or tap it again, it'll go back to PSI. And again, if we push this, hold this a couple seconds, now it changes to . There's where you go to set your tire pressures.You can see number one is flashing, two is over here. So if we push the button again, there's two, there's three, and there's four. And each of the sensors are numbered on the top so you can align it with where they are on the car and where they are on here. One through four. And then if we just . And again, you're on one now, if you want to go up or down, you use these arrows up or down. So this should be going down. And if you want to go back up to set the pressure you need. And then if we hold it for a few more seconds, and it switches back to the temperature and the . And then if you hold it for about five . there you go, and it shows the tire pressure. And if keep holding it all the way it'll eventually turn off.Let me just go ahead and zoom out. And we'll talk about it uses an integrated mono-crystalline solar panel, which provides power to the monitor. It has the two adhesive hook and loop strips that will let your mount this monitor to your windshield, so you'll be able to see this, and it will still get the sunlight through the windshield. Now it does have a lithium ion battery backup to ensure operation at night or in inclement weather. And it does also include this micro USB charger that you can plug into a USB port for charging.Now the sensors, the sensors will check the tire pressure and temperature about every six seconds and send that data to this monitor via radio frequency signal. The sensors do install very easily on to your tire's valve stem. You can see they just thread onto the valve stem. There is a number, I had mentioned, on the top of each one, and that way you'll be able to correspond it with the appropriate tire position on the monitor.They are brass construction, so they are designed for use on steel, chrome, or nickel valve stems. Now they do come with eight batteries. Four of them you can put in to start use, and then once they wore out they give you an extra four. So to install the battery, all you have to do is unscrew the top of the sensor to pop out. The batteries will slide right in there. Once the batteries in there, just put the cap back on, snug it down, and you're ready to go.And when you go to install these, it does come with this locking hardware to install it. So basically you'll take one of the nuts here and you'll tighten or screw the nut onto your valve stem. And then put your sensor on, tighten the sensor down, and then snug up the lock nut. And once it gets close enough, you have this wrench that you can lock it, tighten it down all the way, keeps anybody from just unscrewing them and removing these sensors from your valve stem.The signal booster up here, this will strengthen the sensor signal, helps eliminate any electronic interference. You hardwire this directly to your vehicle's battery terminals and then you can secure it in place with these included cable ties. Few specs on this. Again, it's designed to monitor four tires on a dual axle trailer. The tire sensors, just to give you an idea of the size of them, they're about three quarter inches wide. Height is only about five eighths inches. Weight is only about 0.3 ounces, so when you do put these on it won't really affect the balancing of your wheels and tires.Pressure range on these is 0 to 70 PSI. Sensor precision is plus or minus three PSI. Transmission frequency is 433 megahertz. Operation range, we've mentioned, is 25 feet. Operating temperature range is -4 degrees Fahrenheit to 185 degrees Fahrenheit. And the battery life is usually nine months, nine to 14 months. And as I mentioned, they do give you four extra batteries. The monitor itself, just to give you a dimension on that, it's going to be right at three and a quarter inches long, By about two and a half inches tall, by about one and a quarter inches deep.
