Review of Tekonsha Accessories and Parts 3016

Today we're going to review part number 3016. This is the Tekonsha plug in wiring adapter for the Draw-tight Tekonsha electric brake controllers. This is a vehicle-specific item. This part is designed to fit the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 1500 light-duty trucks, the new body style. This wiring adapter will ease installation of your electric brake controller. It has a custom connector end which will plug into the built in port right here beneath the dash of your vehicle.

The other end right here will plug into the back of your Draw-tight or Tekonsha electric break controller. Now the compatible brake controllers that that works with is in the time delay version. It will work with the Draw-tight activator 1, activator 2, activator 3 and the Tekonsha power trap. In the proportional line of brake controllers, it is compatible with the Tekonsha prodigy, the Tekonsha P2, the P3, the Prinus IQ and the Voyager. This part does come with a limited one-year warranty. Basically what you would do is this end right here as you can see will plug into the factory port on your vehicle.
