Taylor Made Mooring - Dock Lines - TM55FR Review

Ellen: Hey, everybody. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com, and we're taking a quick look at the Taylor Made dock line. This is going to be for your 25 foot boats and just gives you a nice spot to tie off to. It has a split end here, so we've got a loop to tie off. It's going to make it a much more secure connection than any kind of knot could be. Has some reinforced stitching there to make that splice at the end, and should be a pretty durable rope overall.

It's resistant to any kind of mildew, even if you put it away wet, shouldn't have any issues there. Also resistant to any kind of damage from oil, grease, gasoline, things like that, so should last you quite a while. It's made out of a durable blue nylon, very nice color there. This measures about 15 feet long and it's a 3/8" diameter. As you can see, it's pretty malleable, so real easy to move around and tie off as you need. The tensile strength for this rope is 4,450 pounds.

So again, just kind of show you that length of rope, give you an idea of the texture and how it moves together. Just kind of bunch it up there. But that's pretty much all there is to it for our quick look at the Taylor Made dock line. I hope this has helped in deciding if this is the right choice for you. We do have a lot of other marine and boat accessories here at etrailer.com, so check them out.

Thanks for watching.
