Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this Taylor Made Removable Chafe Guard. This is gonna help protect your dock line to keep it from chafing and tearing against the edge of the dock. It's also gonna help keep the rope from damaging your boat's paint or gel coat. This is going to work for your 3/4" to 7/8" diameter ropes.

It's very fast and easy to get installed. You just wrap it around your rope and then secure with the hook-and-loop closure here. So you're not gonna have to untie the rope to get this attached. Just leave your rope where it is, wrap this around it and you've got a nice firm connection there. This is a black 1050 denier nylon that is gonna be very durable and flexible.

It's not gonna mar your boat or the dock. So it's gonna do a good job for you. Now, this is the 2' long version. There are two other versions, the 3' long and the 4' long option. All of those are available here at etrailer.com.

They're all gonna be the exact same material, same diameter of rope. Just a matter of how long you want them to be for your application.
