Ellen: Hey everyone. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com, and today we're taking a look at the Taylor Made dock cart. So, this is going to help you to transport items from your car to your boat and back again. It can also be used around the house. Personally, whenever I look at this, I think it would make a great addition for a landscaping cart, or a gardening cart. Anytime where you need to carry some heavy, bulky items, maybe dirty items, things like your luggage, groceries, maybe rocks, landscaping, pavement slabs, stuff like that.

It does have a nice high capacity for weight of 300 pounds. So nothing too crazy, but it'll definitely help to make it a lot easier to transport those things around. The wheels have a bearing in there, so it makes them really maneuverable, very durable wheels. You can really maneuver this around very nicely, as you can see I'm doing it one handed.So, once you get more weight in there, it probably will be a little bit more tricky, but I think it moves really well. It feels pretty nice and sturdy.

Again, I really like that it has a nice weight capacity of 300 pounds. And the other thing that I really like about this design are the wheels themselves. These are going to be made out of a polyurethane for the tire. So it has a soft feel to it. You can see there's a little bit of give there, but it doesn't have any air.

It's a solid tire. So, you don't have to worry about keeping those tires aired up, or going over any nails, or things like that and them getting punctured, shouldn't have any issues with that. If anything does puncture into the tire, it's not going to go flat because it's a solid wheel.So definitely a nice design. The hardware is going to be zinc coated. So we shouldn't have to worry about corrosion there.

Almost everything else is going to be a poly design. So, our tub is going to be a plastic material. Don't have to worry about it ever rusting out. That's always a big thing with wheelbarrows and little carts and stuff like that. If they're made of metal over time, they rust out after a few years of being outside in the elements. So they have thought about that being around water all the time and made it pretty resistant to that corrosion. So, it should last for a long time for you.As far as the handle, it does have a slight curve up. I'm about five five, and I don't have to bend over at all to grab this. Just can pick it right up. So, you don't have to worry about leaning over to grab it and pick it up. It just is a really easy to maneuver around cart. Also, this angle going back for the front of the cart, it gives you a little bit more room to stretch out your legs as you're walking. So, even if you have a longer stride, you shouldn't have to worry about your shins getting caught and kicking the front of that cart.Now, as far as dimensions, give you guys some measurements here. The total length from the back of the tub to the front of our handles, it's about 56 inches long in total. And then our height, if we go from the floor to the top of this handle, it's about 26 and a half inches tall. To the actual tub itself it's about 24 inches, about two feet that you have to clear to get any items in there. So, if you're picking something up to get it into that cart, as long as you can clear two feet, you should be good there. And the interior length, I'm going to actually go to the bottom since it does have that slope design, that does cost us a little bit in the total length at the bottom, but it's about 36 and a half inches long, can be about 36 and a quarter. Interior width is about 21 and a half inches.The width overall is a little difficult for me to measure just because this axle where this nut comes out to the bolt comes out on the axle there, that's probably going to be the absolute furthest out point. But if we go to our wheels, it looks like it's about 30 inches. And then add on another inch, so about 32 inches for the total width going all the way across at that widest point. Our base in depth, it's about 12 inches. So, the tub measures about 12 inches deep.This is made in the USA. And as I mentioned, should be a great addition around your boat, around your home, around your landscaping site, or really wherever you want to have a nice heavy duty cart to help you move things around.
