Snap-Loc Carts and Dollies - Panel Cart - SL1500PC6AB Review

Today we're going to take a look at the Snap-Loc Air-Ride Panel Cart with E-track Anchor Points. This is going to be a 32" by 20-1/2" platform with two handles, and it comes in black. This is going to be a great way to transport any of those longer items, especially if they're going to sit kind of tall, our Panel Cart gives us an easy way to keep those in place, since they can lean against either one of those handles. And we can still push or pull them as we need to.It also allows those longer items to lay over the ends, and we can also use our E-track attachment points to secure those down with straps. We're going to have an attachment point on each side of our cart. So again, that lets you use E-track straps with this, or a connecting strap to daisy-chain the carts together. This is one of our connecting straps. This is going to be the 12" version, which I would suggest if you're going to be connecting your carts with the handles at either end, since that gives you a little bit more length to go over that attachment piece there.

And then you can connect it into your other cart.Again, this is going to be the 12" connecting strap, that's going to be part number SLLS2E12R. The 6" strap is going to be the same, just a little bit shorter. That's going to be SLLS2E6R. And again, that's just the E-track attachment point. That just means it has a specialized buckle on the end.

We pull back that little hammer there; it lets us put our E-track strap into place, and secure whatever we need to.There are a lot of accessories for E-track, including ratchet straps, cam buckle straps, basically anything that you need to tie down your cargo along with hooks and tie down rings. If you already have bungee cords and straps you want to use that aren't E-track compatible, you can use those as well, to connect into there and get all your cargo tied down and secure. The nice thing about the cart is that it will have our 6" pneumatic wheels. Those are going to give us a nice smooth roll, so we don't have to worry about any bouncing with, especially if we're going over slightly uneven terrain. They're not going to be off road, so they're going to be better for indoor use or use on pavement and things like that. But they do give us a nice cushioned, smooth ride whenever we're transporting our items. Now we'll have two fixed casters, and then two swivel casters.

Those are going to have those air fittings on each wheel, so we can get those aired up as we need to. And they are going to be heavy-duty pneumatic casters. They also have grease zerks 00:02:44 on the wheels and the casters themselves, so we can service those wheels as well. Our handles are removable, so if you decide that you want to convert this from a panel cart to a push cart, you can do so. The easiest way to do that is to remove each handle on its own. Each one of these is going to have some little detents, and if you pull them off from the side, that'll let you convert this to that push cart.

You just need to remove this middle section. And then swing it over to one of the ends to convert it over. You can also just remove the handles completely. If you want to just have that platform base, or if you just want to make it a little bit smaller for storage. Makes it pretty easy. Our handles themselves are going to be made of a rust-resistant steel with a hammertone gray powder coat finish. They're going to be 1-1/4" in diameter. Another thing that I like about the platform itself is that it's going to have a flat top design, so we don't have any lifts or edges that are going to cause anything to get off balance or cause anything to fall off, or just kind of be awkward. And especially if you're going to be using a couple of carts in conjunction with each other, there's no lip to go over. It just makes it a little bit nicer there. The material at the top is going to have a nice non-skid surface with a diamond pattern. Again, to keep all our cargo in place. And if we tip the cart up, you can see underneath we'll have a steel frame to give our cart a little bit of extra stability there, especially for carrying around heavy stuff, we want to make sure that it's going to be nice and stable. The platform is going to be made of a heavy-duty HDPE plastic to support all our heavy loads. As far as the dimensions of our cart, again, that platform is going to be 32" long with our panel cart handles in place. This bar does extend that out to about 34". So it is going to be a little bit wider, or longer. It's actually going to be more like 34-3/4" long there. But we'll still have 20-1/2" of width, and then from the ground to the top of our platform, it's going to be 9-1/2" tall. From the ground to the top of our handles, it's going to be about 40", or going from the top of the platform to the top of the handle, it's going to be about 31".Our overall weight capacity is going to be 1500 pounds. And there is a one-year limited warranty from Snap-Loc on the cart. And that's going to do it for our look at the Snap-Loc Air-Ride Panel Cart with E-track Anchor Points.
