Snap-Loc Carts and Dollies - Moving Dolly - SL1500DB Review

Today we're gonna take a look at the Snap-Loc All-Terrain Dolly with E-track Anchor Points. This is going to be a 32 inch by 20 1/2 inch platform with a 1,500 pound capacity, in black. This is gonna be a great accessory to have around your house or shop, maybe out in your garage if you're transporting anything heavy like engine blocks or something like that. The nice thing about this is it's gonna have a very high weight capacity, but it's also gonna be a nice flat dolly so we can transport inaudible 00:00:27 items. We don't have to worry about there being any lips or edges that things can get hung up on or fall off, get off balance, other stuff like that. There's also an E-track accessory point on each side of our dolly, so as you can see, we have one on this side. There's also one on the other, and on both ends, so you can use this to have straps going around your cargo, or also to connect different dollies together.

So, here I have one of the connecting straps. It's just gonna be a nice, short length of strap to connect in there. We'll have our E-track attachment point, so it just slides in and snaps into place. This one in particular is gonna be 12 inches long, and this is gonna be sold separately. You can find that here at eTrailer.com.

That part number is going to be SLLS2E6R. That's gonna be for the six inch one. The one that I have here is gonna be the 12 inch, and that is gonna be SLLS2E12R.So, the 12 inch is probably gonna be better for whenever you have the panel cart or push cart configuration. That's basically going to give you an accessory to have a bracket come out of one of the ends, and you can either have one handle going up and around for one side, or you can have two running the length of your dolly cart. So, if you're connecting something like that where you have those ends, that 12 inch strap is going to be a little bit better since it gives you a little bit more length to cover over those bars.

Again, those are sold separately as well as the conversion kit to make this into a panel cart or a push cart. Those part numbers for those conversion kits is gonna be SLADBPC319P. That's gonna be for the panel or push cart. For just the push cart which is just one handle that's gonna be SLADBPT319-P.For our dolly just on its own, it's still gonna be a really nice accessory. We'll have our all-terrain wheels so we can use this on just about any kind of ground.

Packed dirt, gravel, things like that. These are gonna be an airless rubber tire so we don't have to worry about any tires going flat over time, which is something that I definitely like. There's no real maintenance that's required with these. Another nice thing is that we'll have our brake, so whenever this is on the ground, you can just operate this with your foot but there'll be a little embossed on. That'll clip that brake to on so our cart will be stable, and then you can pivot to off and use as normal. That's gonna be on both sides for our swivel wheels. We have two swivel wheels and then two fixed wheels. The fixed casters aren't gonna have any brake on them, so just keep that in mind, but we will have a little inaudible 00:03:28 on the inside here for our casters, and then another one for the wheel itself, so we can service those wheels, keep any squeaks from developing and just keep them rolling smoothly. As you can see, it does really roll quite nicely. In addition to our top here being flat, there is a diamond plate pattern on these two panels here. Gives a little nonskid surface so none of our items can slide off of here. This material itself is gonna be an HDPE plastic platform, so it's gonna be very durable, very resistant to any cracking or bending. Underneath, if I flip this over here, you can see we'll have a steel frame running around that parameter of our cart. That gives it a little bit of extra reinforcement as well since we're gonna be putting a lot of weight on this dolly itself.Again, we are gonna have that 1,500 pound max weight capacity. Our length overall to the outermost edge is gonna be 32 inches long by 20 1/2 inches wide, and this is gonna sit about nine and one half inches tall. There's gonna be about seven inches of clearance from the ground to underneath our cart as well. This opening is gonna be about 11 by 10 inches, so if you have something that's gonna fall into that space, be sure to look out for that. One last thing I want to mention with this cart that it is made in the USA. That's gonna do it for our look at the Snap-Loc All-Terrain Dolly with E-track Anchor Points, in black.
