Seaflo Boat Accessories - Submersible Bilge Pump - SE27FR Review

Jeff: Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a look at the SEAFLO, 12 volt DC Submersible Non-Automatic Bilge Pump. Now, this is a motorized pump that offers water evacuation of any built up water from the bildge wells of your boat. Does install under your boat's inboard motor. And this is fully submersible.

It is a traditional operation by either a manual switch or an automatic float switch, which we do sell separately on our website. And the manual function will allow you to turn the pump on and off when water's present. And the pump will not turn on if it's submersed in any oil. The bass on it, at the bottom here you can see, it has a removable strainer base. You can see on the side, these two black buttons, if you just push them, it will allow you to remove that base, makes it easy to clean that and then fits industry standard mounting conventions.

So, it's no problem to switch from other brand pumps. And see, it just installs just like that.Right here you can see, is a 1-1/8 inch diameter hose barb discharge outlet for your hose to attach to. Now, this does meet or exceed the ROHS, SGS, and ISO standards. A few specs on this, the voltage is 12 volts DC. The wire lead on it is three feet.

Maximum amps is 8.5 amps. Maximum power draw is 14 amps. The head flow on this is 2000 gallons per hour at zero feet and 1400 gallons per hour at three feet. Maximum water temperature is 110 degrees Fahrenheit. And the last thing I want to do is just give you some dimensions on this.

Overall height of the unit is going to be right about six inches. The width of it is right about four and a quarter inches. And then the depth of it, including the discharge outlet, is right at about five and one 16th of an inch. But that should do it for the review on this SEAFLO, 12 volt DC, Submersible Non-Automatic Bilge Pump.
