Review of Roadmaster Hitch Accessories RM-071-75

Today, we'll be reviewing part number RN-071-75. This is the Roadmaster Trailer Hitch Receiver Extension. It's going to extend our trailer hitch receiver to seven and three quarters of an inch. This is designed for a 2 inch by 2 inch trailer hitch. It's going to offer 6000 pound gross vehicle weight rating and a 100 pound maximum tongue weight. It's very important that you keep in mind that this extender is designed for tow bar use only.

It's not for use with any type of trailer. We'll go over couple different measurements. We have an overall length about twelve and a half inches, from the center of one pin hold to the other is seven and three quarters of an inch. The larger sleeve measures right at seven and a half inches. The part that size into the receiver tube measures at four and seven eight seven inch.

We're going to go ahead and load it up and show you how to install this. You take it and slide it into the receiver of your hitch and you want to be sure to line up your pin holes. We'll simply install our pin and clip. Now, a pin and clip is not included but it is available with part number PC3 and you can also use a hitch pin and lock. Just like that we're all loaded up and we're ready to make our connection.
