Review of Performance Tool Tools PTW54043

Today we are going to be taking a look at the performance tool, Small Portable Parts Washer. This portable parts washer is designed to be used with a standard five gallon bucket. It's lightweight and portable enough to be easily moved from job to job. The part's basin has mount holes that go around the perimeter. That way you can securely attach it to the lip of a standard five gallon bucket. It's also going to feature the ribbed drainage channels and a filtered gate that's designed to catch the waste material. This right here is the pump. This is going to sit conveniently in the base of the five gallon bucket.

It has suction cup feet on it to ensure that it stays put once it's placed down there. Then it's connected to the hose right here. The hose runs all the way to this brush. This bristled brush is going to do a great job of cleaning the parts, and it applies the cleaning solution at the same time. This area of the basin has a lowered lip, so that's where you clean your parts. It's a really nice design, and again it does apply the solution at the same time that you're cleaning your parts. When you're ready to use your portable washer, you just simply place the pump inside of the standard five gallon bucket.

Add your cleaning detergent or solution into the bucket. Per the instructions, you'll only want to use water-based cleaners, and you'll want to replace the solution once it becomes dirty. Then you can place the washing basin on top of the bucket and again you can mount it if you want to. It does have indention's on the side. That way on one end, you can run out the hose from the pump. On the other end, you can run out the power cord.

That way the basin is always seated correctly in the five gallon bucket. You'll want to arrange the power cord and hose between the bucket and the basin. Plug it into a power supply, a three prong connector, and then simply use the brush to clean your part. That's going to do it for today's look at the performance tool Small Portable Parts Washer.
