PTC Air Filter - Cabin Air Filter - 3513749 Review

Today we'll be taking a quick look at the PTC Custom Fit Cabin Air Filter. Now it's important to replace your cabin air filter pretty regularly to make sure that you don't get any harmful materials getting into your vehicle. Then having to breath them in yourself. These are going to filter out all those things that we encounter on the road. Things like dust, smoke, bacteria, pollen, mold spores, brake line dust, any other nasty particulate matter that we just don't really want to breath in. This is going to trap that for us and keep that in place.I've also seen these things get filled with all kinds of stuff. Like leaves and dirt.

They are definitely important to make sure that they keep things out of your cabin but also it helps to make sure that your HVAC system, so your heating and cooling inside your vehicle, is working properly as well.If you find that it's been a few years and your heating isn't producing as much air as it used to, it seems to be just weak or same thing for your AC, it might be because it's time to change your cabin air filter. As they get filled up with gunk, it prevents that air from passing through there. It can impact your system. This is going to be a custom fit for our 2008 through 2012 Jeep Liberty. The 2008 through 2011 Dodge Nitro. You'll want to check your owner's manual to see exactly how to install these in your vehicle but typically your air filter is located underneath or behind your glove compartment on the passenger side.

You might have to just open that compartment up and remove the box. Typically by pressing in on the glove compartment box. Then it should be located somewhere behind there. The manufacturer recommends that you change out your filter every 12,000 to 18,000 miles or about once a year, but of course while you're checking on how exactly to install this in your owner's manual. You'll also want to make sure that you follow whatever the stipulations that they have for you as well. This is going to be just an easy drop-in application. It's made of that white media particulate.

It's going to filter out about 90% of all those harmful contaminants. It is manufactured to all ISO certified standards. That's going to do it for our look at the PTC Custom Fit Cabin Air Filter.
