MORryde Car Organizer - Jeep Spare Tire Gas Can Holder - MR39MR Review

Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at this Jeep spare tire mounted, jerry can holder. This is going to provide a very convenient spot for you to safely transport your jerry can style gas can on your Jeep, so that if you're away from the gas station for awhile, either on an extended trip or doing some off-roading or something like that, you'll have that extra supply of gas right there to where you can take it off and fill up your tank again. This is going to fit your 2007 through 2017 Jeep Wrangler and Wrangler Unlimited as well as your 1987 through 1995, Jeep YJ and your 1997 through 2006 Jeep TJ as well as the 2004 through 2006 Jeep TJ Unlimited. It's also going to work for just about any Jeep with a factory or more ride spare tire carrier.

This is very easy to get installed. It just installs right in place on those studs of your spare tire carrier and then it will allow you to have a five gallon nato or scepter can in the tray here. You can see we do have a ratcheting strap so that we can easily ratchet our can down into place so going to be nice and stable, that we do have a little mat down here that's going to help reduce rattling as we're going over bumps and that sort of thing. So everything's going to be nice and strapped down and when we need it we can easily just pop that ratchet up and take our can off. Because this is so easy to get installed, you can just mount this in place and put your spare tire back on.

Then this front portion kind of slide onto this and you can simply undo that bolt anytime you need to take the tray off. So if you need to remove the spare tire and just take that bolt off and slide the tray out and you'll be able to remove that spare tire very easily. So very easy to take off when you don't need it and then put on when you're going to be needing extra gas on your trip. As far as our dimensions go, our overall dimension from where this is going to attach on our spare tire holder out to the edge, it's just under 14 inches long, it's about 13 and seven eights of an inch. Our tray itself is going to be about 14 inches wide by seven inches deep.

It's going to be one in seven eighths just shy of two inches tall. There is another option that's a little bit taller on the back end so depending on your situation if you need a little bit more room to anchor it down this way, we do have that option available as well. But overall, I think this is going to be a really convenient way of putting your jerry can on your Jeep so that you always have that backup source of fuel when you need it. This is made here in the USA so you can trust it's made to the high quality standards that we've come to know and trust for products that are made here in the US. There's a nice metal construction so it's going to be very durable, should last you a nice long time.

It's got a black powder coat finish to help resist constructs and corrosion, that sort of thing. Overall, I think you're going to be very happy with this. If you are looking for a way to get your jerry can mounted on your spare tire holder of your Jeep. So that's going to complete our look for today. Again, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Thanks for watching..
