Review of Longview Custom Towing Mirrors LVT-3100C

Today, we'll be reviewing part #LVT-3100C. These are the Longview Custom Towing Mirrors with a slip-on design for both the driver and passenger side. Now, to see if these are going to fit your specific year, make, and model, you can refer to the vehicle list at the bottom of this product page. The towing mirrors slip over your factory side view mirror to extend your lines of sight. It's going to give you a better view of the road and your trailer, as well as make it safer and easier to change lanes, pass, and park. The mirrors are manually adjustable, simply by pressing in on each corner, that way you can get the angle that you need. You can customize your view.

They also feature a nice aerodynamic shape that's going to help prevent vibration and wind noise. Now, the custom design provides the perfect secure fit for your vehicle. Another great thing about these mirrors is that the add-on mirrors will not obstruct factory mirrors, and they will not interfere with adjustments to factory mirrors or light controls. Since it has this nice slant down here at the bottom, this can fit factory mirrors with or without puddle lights on the bottom. The thing I like the most about them is that they're a quick, tool-free installation, three very simple sets. You simply slide the towing mirror over the factory mirror. You take the hook arm, loop it around the inside edge of the factory mirror, make sure that the threaded portion back through the hole, and then all you got to do is tighten the hand knobs to secure the towing mirror in place.

Now, all the mounting hardware, this is going to be made out of plastic material. These are made from a durable ABS plastic housing, and again, both the drivers and passenger-side mirrors are included. Let's go over a few measurements real quick. This is going to give us an overall link, and I'm measuring from the center of the mounting hole to the edge of the mirror of 17 and 1/4 of an inch. The actual mirror is going to give us a width of 4 and 5/8 of an inch and a height of 5 and 3/4 of an inch. They also have this really neat design here on the backside, if you can see that, knd of engraved there. Also, it features padding, it has a felt piece, and then a foam piece here that's really going to protect the finish of the mirror, if you have one, and it's going to also protect the mirror from being scratched up. That's going to do it for today's review of part #LVT-3100C.
