Review of Jensen Hunting and Fishing JHD40BT

Today we're going to be taking a look at the Jensen AM/FM Weather Band USB Bluetooth Stereo. Now, this stereo's built to the exclusive Jensen heavy-duty specifications, and is built handle any environment. It is waterproof, IPX6 rated. This high-tech unit will receive Bluetooth streaming audio from any Bluetooth enabled device such as your smartphone, so users can listen to their digital music library, and also be assured that they have a radio built for rugged environment. The maximum power output on this is 160 watts, so it's four channels by 40 watts. Receives Bluetooth streaming audio and controls Bluetooth enabled devices.

I mentioned it is waterproof, IPX6 rated. Has a seven channel NOAA weather band tuner. Also AM/FM electronic tuner, with 30 programmable station presets, 18 FM and 12 AM. It is iPod-iPhone ready. Has this inaudible 00:00:55 of the USB in this rear pigtail.

Has a line level audio out in the rear, an auxiliary audio input in the rear also. Has multiple mounting capabilities, can be front flush mount, a rear flush mount, a surface mount. It does have white LED backlit dot matrix LCD display hand buttons. It is wired, remote controlled ready. The remote would be sold separately on our website. It is UV resistant and corrosion resistant finishes and materials, and comes with a nice installation and operation manual, set of mounting screws.

The last thing I want to give you is the dimensions on this. The overall width, edge to edge, right at 6 and 1/2 inches. The height is right at 4 inches tall, and the total depth including the face plat is about 2 and a 1/4 inches, and the face plate itself is about 1/2 an inch deep. But that should do it for the review on the Jensen AM/FM Weather Band USB Bluetooth Stereo.

No Problem.

Hello I am trying to find the wired remote control for the Jensen JHD40bt unit but cannot seem to locate any information about it. Could you be so kind and help direct me as to where I can purchase a remote for my unit. Thank you, Tony

Les D.

@AnthonyG The Jensen JHD40BT did not come with a remote, nor does it have compatibility with any aftermarket remote. Stereos intended for marine duty usually don't have remotes. However, if you are playing music from a bluetooth device like your phone, you could then control it somewhat with your phone.

Ok thx I will just keep using the Bluetooth
