Review of Feedback Sports Bike Tools 301-17068

Today we're going to be taking a look at a Feedback Sports Cycling Digital Caliper. This caliper allows you to accurately measure C-post diameters, bottom brackets, stem lengths and more in inches or millimeters. With these prongs down here, you're going to be able to measure outside dimensions. These allow you to measure inside dimensions, and then this one back here allows you to measure depth dimensions. The unit's going to feature three buttons here on the panel. You're going to have your inches and millimeter button.

That allows you to switch between the two, on and off, and then zero, so you can zero out measurements at any time. It's a really nice design. It's very easy to use. It's going to feature the set screw right here, so you can tighten that down or loosen it up, and that just allows the unit to slide a little bit easier, so if you want it to be easier you open that up. It provides less friction, or if you want it to be a little bit stiffer, then you just tighten that down, or if you want to lock it in to a setting you can tighten that down, and that prevents that from moving in. It's a really nice, easy to use design, very user-friendly.

I do want to point out that on the back it's going to feature a dimension look-up chart for bicycles. It's going to have the C-post diameter common sizes and other sizes, handlebar diameter, bottom bracket width and steer tube headset dimensions on there as well. The unit's going to feature a stainless steel, hardened metal body. It's got the metal display. That housing there's a metal construction with the large LCD screen, so it's very easy to see. It's going to feature an auto shut-off mode that's designed to save power.

This will measure up to six inches or 150 millimeters. It does come with the battery. The battery compartment's right here. It's held in place with two small screws. It uses a LR44 button cell battery, and it does come with a small screwdriver to remove that panel and change out the battery if ever needed.

It's also going to include the carrying case, which is really nice. It goes over, secures together. That is padded, so it offers a lot of protection to the caliper. Overall length of the case is going to be about 9 3/4 of an inch. Going this direction it's going to give us a measurement of about 3 1/2 inches. Thickness is about one inch thick. That's going to do it for today's look at the Feedback Sports Cycling Digital Caliper.
