Fastway Ball Mounts - Fixed Ball Mount - DTBM4200 Review

Today we're going to take a look at the Fastway Flash Solid Aluminum Ball Mount with the 2" drop or the 1" rise. It has a 10,000 gross towing weight capacity. This is a nice solid, one-piece ball mount. It has the built-in drop or rise, so it'll let you match the ball height of your vehicle with the towing height of your trailer. This ball mount is a machine from a nice solid piece of aircraft-grade billet aluminum. It's a solid, one-piece aluminum which produces a nice lightweight, yet strong ball mount, and because it's solid one-piece, it avoid any welds which can cause weak points that might break. You can see it has a nice polished finish to it to create a high quality appearance.

The hitch ball is not included. That you would have to purchase separately. We do sell those separately on our website.I do want to give you some dimensions of the ball hole, so you know what size ball to get. Diameter of the hole inaudible 00:00:49 is 1", and the thickness on the ball mount is 1" also. The hitch pinning clip, or the hitch lock that's used to hold this into your hitch receiver again, that is not included.

You would have to purchase that separately. We do sell them on our website. They're listed on this product page as a related product. The diameter of the hitch pin hole is 5/8". This part is made in the U.S.A.

Again, it's designed to fit 2" by 2" trailer hitch receiver openings.Towing capacity is 10,000 pounds. Towing weight capacity is 1,000 pounds. The drop on this is 2", and that's measured from the top of the ball mount to the top of the shank. So just put a ruler on it, there's your 2" drop. The rise would be if you flip it over again, measure top of the ball platform, top of the shank, right at 1" rise.

The last measurement I want to give you is the measurement from the center of the hitch pin hole to the center of the ball hole. If we do that, it's going to be right at 8 1/4". That should do it for the review on the Fastway Flash Solid Aluminum Ball Mount with a 2" drop, 1" rise and a 10,000 pound gross towing weight capacity.
