Review of Draw-Tite Custom Fit Vehicle Wiring 20111

Today we're going to be taking a look at part number 20111; this is the Draw-Tite 5th Wheel and Gooseneck Wiring harness with the 7 pull connector. The harness is extra long to help reach your truck bed which is going to simplify the hook up of your 5th Wheel or Gooseneck trailer. The connector usually mounts on the driver's side between the rear cab post and in front of the wheel wheel area. It does require a 2" diameter hole for a complete installation. The other end simply plugs between the OEM wiring harness and the factory installed 7 way connector. Just keep in mind that the vehicle must have a factory tow package. These connectors are going to match up perfectly with the plugs on the vehicle; they're going to snap lock together for a nice tight secure fit.

One of the main benefits of this system is not only does it provide a 7 way connector on the bed of your truck but it's also going to retain the use of the factory 7 way connector at the rear of the vehicle. The length of the harness is 7 ft long. It's going to offer a 90 degree angle connector to fit into tight spaces. The product is going to come with your detailed installation instructions, your wiring harness, the spacer, and the necessary hardware for installation. The spacer are going to have a couple different uses. It can be used between the 7 way plug and the truck bed if the 90 degree bend corner is too close to the outside wall of the truck bed or if you have a bed liner it could be used between the bed liner and the truck bed to provide some reinforcement; that way you don't cave in the liner.

Its designed to fit your 2000-2008 Dodge Ram 1500 and your 2000-2009 2500 and 3500. The 7 way is going to have a spring loaded lid and its got a gasket right here in the lid so when it is closed it's going to create a nice tight seal to protect the connection points from the elements. That's going to do it for today's look at part number 20111.
