Review of Bulldog Trailer Jack BD1750290317
Today we're going to review part number BD1750290317. This is the Bulldog Round A Frame Jack. It is the topwind design with a 15 inch lift and a 5,000 pound weight capacity. This dependable jack is recognizes in industry standard for agriculture and commercial applications. It is a SABE compliant. It does contain precision fitted parts which will provide exceptional stability and reliability.
As you can see right here where it mounts the three hole pattern it is a weld-on or a bolt-on bracket which will mount to any standard A frame coupler. The holes are at the industry's standard measurements. This topwind handle right here has a smooth ergonomic design for easy cranking. The outer and the inner tubes are gray painted finished. The footplate and the caster assembly is sold separately. We do list those on the product pages or related product but they are sold separately.
Just to give you a few measurements on this. The bracket height, I have it in the fully retracted position right now, it's retracted as much as it can. The retracted height which will be measured from the mounting plate to the bottom here, I put a ruler on that. Here it measures 10 13/16 inches retracted. Now, if I did crank this all the way out and extend this fully the measurement would then it's a 15 inch lift, it would go out 15 inches.
If you measure that full extended would be 25 13/16 inches. Now, the clearance which is measured from the mounting bracket to the top of the jack, I put the ruler on that the clearance would be 10 11/16 inches. Now the inner tubing which is right down here is 2 inches in diameter, the outer tubing is 2 1/4 inches. The radius of this handle right up here, in other words from here to out here is going to measure, just turn it that way, right at 6 5/8 inches handle radius. Again we mention the lift capacity on this is 5,000 pounds. It does come with a limited 5 year warranty.
