Review of BoatBuckle Cargo Tie Downs IMF05352

Today we're going to be reviewing part number IMF05352, this is the boat buckle gas tank tie down strap. It can also be used to secure or tie down the battery box. Basically you can apply this to anything that you want, it's just going to keep objects from being able to slide around during transportation. You can use it in your boat, you can use it on your trailer, the bed of your truck, wherever you need to keep something contained, and keep it from moving around. It's going to be constructed of a sturdy, poly-Propylene webbing when it comes to the strap. Really nice, strong, heavy duty material.

It's going to feature a strong, heavy duty, metal buckle as well. This is just going to work as a cinch buckle. It is a permanent mount installation, it's going to include 2 plastic footman loops, as well as 4 rust resistant stainless steel screws. The strap dimensions, it's going to give us a width of an inch and a half, and an overall length of 6 feet. That's solid black in color. Very simple installation, all you have to do is attach the 2 loops with the stainless steel screws to you boat, or to your mounting surface.

Slide the strap through the loops, you want to weave it through the buckle, and secure the lid of your battery box, or secured around your gas tank, whatever it is you're wanting to tighten down. Once you have it around the object that you're wanting to tie down, all you've got to do is make sure you get everything tight. I just want to then show you how to place it through the buckle, and then how to tighten it. You're going to bring it through that back opening, then it's going to have this bar right here that's got some teeth in it. You're going to bring it around the front of that, and then bring it back down through the buckle. This is going to allow you to pull the strap tight around your object, but it's going to keep the strap from being able to reverse out the opposite way. That's going to do it for our review of part number IMF05352, this is the boat buckle gas tank, or battery box, tie down.
