Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this Bestop Instatrunk storage unit. This is going to instantly create a 2.7-cubic foot trunk in the rear cargo area of your 2007 through 2010 Jeep Wrangler and Wrangler Unlimited. This will help to keep all your valuables out of sight and just be able to put them in the rear of your Jeep, close your tailgate, and everything will be nice and hidden. It's also going to fit flush up against your tailgate so when you do close your tailgate and lock it, all those components or whatever you have stored in here is going to be secure.

So you won't need any additional locks or anything. It will all be locked in with your tailgate. This is constructed of a nice heavy-duty 16-gauge steel. So it's going to be very durable and tamper-resistant. If someone is gonna try and get in and steal your stuff, it's gonna take them a lot to get through this so your stuff will be very secure.

They do include this weather stripping on top here. So this will help keep your storage, stored items protected from elements. So the rain and that sort of thing won't be able to get through there. It's gonna be nice and snug up against your tailgate so everything will stay nice and dry. You can see on the steel we do have this textured black matte powder coat finish, so the steel itself will also be protected from the elements.

So it should last you for a nice long time. This is gonna be very simple to get installed. It's gonna sit right behind your rear seats in your Jeep. This will require you to have your rear seats installed but the panels easily bolt together to create the trunk area and then you can just put it in place. And then if you don't need it, you can just as easily remove it.

The panels do come back apart so that you can store them easily in your garage. It won't take up much room, definitely not as much room as the full assembled piece here. So if you are going to just use it for a little bit and then remove it, it will very easily store in a small space.
