Bauer Products Propane - Propane Tank Locks - BA96VR Review

Michael: Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at the buyers products, propane tank lockable hasps. Now, this is a pretty simple setup to ensure that your propane tanks are going to be secured and this setup is going to work with your dual propane tank holders. Where you have your crossbar that holds your propane tanks in place, this is going to slide right over top. You can see, we do have that quarter inch diameter hole there that will slide down onto your threaded rod, and it will sit on top of your crossbar. Then you'll just tighten down your wingnut on to this plate and then you'll take your other hasp, slide it over top that wingnut, then on the bottom side just pass your padlock through either side there.

The padlock is not included in this kit, but we do have several options for you here at etrailer.com.Once you have that padlock in place, a potential thief is not going to be able to turn that wingnut, to lift up on that crossbar and remove your tanks, so it's going to be nice and secure.Very easy to then remove. Just take off the padlock, lift up on that top hasp, and then you can unscrew your wingnut, take off the tanks when you need to.This does have mounting holes here for your LP regulator. Those mounting holes are spaced right about one inch center to center. It should work out for your regulator and our measurements for our top hasp here. We're looking right at two inches, so as long as your wingnut width is less than two inches, it should fit in there.

You shouldn't have any problems with that.I think this is going to be a great option for you if you're wanting to help secure your gas tanks, make sure that you are the only one benefiting from your LP gas. These are a nice zinc plated steel construction so they're going to be very durable, resist corrosion, and hold up well for you for a nice long time. That's going to complete our look for today. Again, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Thanks for watching.
