Review of Baron and Baron Hitch Covers HDHC13

Today we're going to be taking a look at the Harley Davidson 3D chrome logo two inch trailer hitch cover. This hitch cover is a great way to show off your pride. They're very fun to have on the vehicle. They add a clean, finished look to your hitch and they keep dirt and grime out of the receiver tube of your hitch. The unit's going to feature, here at the face plate, a nice chrome plating over a solid brass construction, so it's going to last a long time. It's going to be highly resistant to rust and corrosion. Overall it's just a really nice, durable construction. The unit looks really nice and it has a super clean design. This piece right here is stainless steel.

It's also going to come with a theft-resistant fastener kit, so it does not use a standard pin and clip or hitch lock, but it comes with this specific one, which once installed it's very low-profile. You don't have a lot of this hanging out on the outside edge of the hitch. These two pieces thread together and they require a special tool to get it disconnected, which the tools are included. It's also going to come with three various sized foam gaskets. These are designed to reduce rattle between the hitch cover and the receiver tube of your hitch. They simple just slide over the shank right here.

You can use one of them or two of them, or you can use all three of them. It just depends on your application and what's going to work best. A few measurements to go over with real quick. The overall width from edge to edge is about 5 1/4. Overall height is about 4". It is an officially licensed Harley Davidson product.

You'll also notice that the unit has two pin holes to choose from when installing this. You just choose whatever one works best for your application. It's a really simple installation. All you've got to do is slide it into the receiver tube of your hitch. Line up whatever pin hole works best for your application. Take the lock kit here, place it through the pin holes, thread the two pieces back together, and then use the included tools to get it tightened down all the way.

You can see there how those foam gaskets create that nice seal which is going to reduce rattle, and as you go down the road that's going to help reduce noise. That's going to do it for today's look at the Harley Davidson 3D Chrome Logo 2" Trailer Hitch Cover for 2" by 2" hitches.
