Review of Baron and Baron Accessories and Parts HDHCB25

Today we're going to review part number HDHCB25. This is the Baron and Baron Harley Davidson bar and shield trailer hitch ball cover. This is an officially licensed Harley Davidson tow ball hitch cover. It uses the Harley Davidson bar and shield logo in the orange, white and black colors. The face plate itself is made of a durable zinc. We do use epoxy color-filled emblem, and it has the chrome plated edges. The post that goes over the hitch ball is a corrosion-resistant, stainless steel post.

It does use the hardware showing here. It is a theft-resistant hardware . Uses a special allen bolt. I'm going to show you how this installs in a minute. Now, a few specs on this.

The application . This will fit over 1 7/8 inch, 2 inch and 2 5/16th sized hitch balls. A few dimensions on the cover itself. The width all the way to the edge is 5 1/4 inches wide. The heighth from the very bottom to the very top point, here, is going to be right at 4 3/4 inches tall. The depth from the front to the back is going to be right at 2 3/4 inches deep.

What I want to show you is how this would install. I have an example of a 2 5/16th. This is the larger hitch ball. This hitch would probably already be installed in your ball mount. What you would want to do is .. This is designed to drop right over and then you tighten this around it.

What I would recommend is when you to start to drop this over, take this U-bolt . Stainless steel U-bolt .put it around the neck of the hitch ball. Drop this right over that and take your theft-resistant hardware . Once you line it up with the bolts you can see that you can get them started. Make sure that you have the washer on the bolt. They come with the washer. Do the same on this side. Once you get them started, all you have to do is use this triangular design that you put in here. Go ahead and tighten that up on both sides until it's snug all the way around. Because it's a triangular design, somebody can't use a screwdriver to get in there. Just like that, you would tighten it. It would be around your hitch ball cover to correct it. That should do it for the review on part number HDHCB25. This is the Baron and Baron Harley Davidson bar and shield trailer hitch ball cover.
