Aries Automotive Off Road Lights - 30 Inch Single-Row 14K Lumens Light Bar - AA1501264 Review

Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this Aries Automotive 30 inch Single-Row LED Light Bar. This light bar is gonna provide lots of light for you when you're off-roading or working in remote locations at night. It can provide plenty of light for you to be able to see everything that you're doing and where you're going. This is a single row bar. So it is going to fit into tighter spaces than other models will.

It is 30 inches across, and that is with the LED white portion. Our overall width is gonna be about 33 and 3/4 of an inch. So keep that in mind, make sure that that's gonna fit for you. We do have other options that are a little bit smaller, so just depending on your needs. But this is going to fit a wide range of vehicles.

I would encourage you to come to etrailer.com. We have a vehicle fit guide where you can select your year, make and model of your vehicle. We'll let you know which products will work for you. This will work for a wide range of vehicles, but just to make sure that this will work for you before you order it, use that vehicle fit guide, just to be sure. But this is going to have a very nice bright output.

It's got 4,800 Lumens. So, most of your average headlight high beams are gonna be about 1,200. So this is actually going to be about six times brighter than having both of your high beam headlights on. So it's gonna provide plenty of light for you. If I turn off the lights in my studio here, you can see this is providing plenty of light for me to see still.

Definitely don't want to shine it in your eyes, but it is a very bright light that will do a great job. Especially if you are going to be off-road or working at night and this will provide plenty of light for you. It is very easy to get turned on and off. They include a little clicker switch here, and it is a instantaneous on and off. You don't have to worry about the lights warming up or anything like that. It will do a really good job of coming on exactly when you need it to. It is rated for 50,000 plus hours of lifespan. So it's gonna be about five years of continuous use. So it's gonna last you a nice long time. It does have dual, oversized heat sinks to help maintain the low effective running temperature. So it will be able to operate in temperatures from negative 40 degrees Fahrenheit up to 145 degrees Fahrenheit. So whether you're working in a really cold environments or extremely hot temperatures, this will do a great job of providing that light for you. This is going to have a stainless steel pivoting bracket here on the side that will allow you to adjust the angle up to 25 degrees so that you can get, the perfect angle for your mounting location. This housing is a rust-free aluminum with a rugged crack resistant Lexan lens. If you're not familiar with that Lexan material, that's the same kind of material they use on race cars. So you're not gonna have to worry about getting cracks, chips and that sort of thing. It is gonna be very high impact. This is also waterproof. It's got an IP68 and IP69K waterproof rating, and dustproof rating to help keep any water and air out. So you're not gonna have to worry about, even if you're splashing up through mud as you're going off-road, this will hold up really well. The wiring harness is also waterproof and very strong. So it's gonna provide a nice, reliable connection for you. So you don't have to worry about needing the light and then it not being operational for you. It will be ready when you need it. This is constructed of Grade A Cree LED chips inside. That's going to provide superior quality for you to make sure that those LEDs are going to be long lasting and doing a great job for you. Does also have a durable painted mar-resistant finish that is going to be resistant to UV rays, so it will hold up well. You probably will have this mounted in a recessed location, but it is gonna do a great job of holding up that finish. And this has been tested to last in extreme temperatures with lots of vibration, dust and salt. It's gone through all sorts of testing and it has come out just fine so that you can trust it is gonna do a great job for you. They do give you plenty of cable to get connected. So, in addition to your 12 volt relay here, you are gonna have your ring terminals to connect to your battery. And then of course your switch, turns it on and off. So the distance from your button to your relay, you have about a four feet length there. From your relay to your battery ring terminals, it's approximately three feet. So that will probably be a little bit closer to your battery. And then from your relay out to your light connector it's about eight feet. And then the cable going to the light is about a foot and a half. So you've got a nine and a half-ish feet there to work with to make sure that you can route this in a way that's going to be conducive for your setup. So overall, really nice option for those of you who are wanting to add a little bit of light onto your vehicle. Again, so you can see the path ahead of you. If you're off-roading in the dark, or if you're gonna be out on a job site at night, you want to have those lights on so that you can see what you're doing. This is gonna be a very nice, bright light that fits into those tight spaces for you. So that's going to complete our look for today. Again, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Thanks for watching..
